Balans Hatha Flow Yoga

We flow through our sequence with intention, braiding postures together that will open, stretch  and restore your body from inside and out. Each class will link breath and movement, deepen the connection of mind and body. Some Yoga experience is welcomed.

Balans Yoga Sculpt

This class will blend Yoga poses with traditional strength training moves. A weighted sculpting class that promises to build lean muscle mass and boost metabolism, think bicep curls with your legs in crescent pose or weighted squats in chair pose. Yoga Sculpt provides an opportunity to work muscles that students need to have in a strong growing Yoga practice. All levels welcome.

Balans Flow and Restore

This candle-lit class will spend its first half flowing through sun salutations and postures designed to build internal heat. The second half will be spent discovering rest. In restorative yoga we unlock the secret to going slow, paying attention, and sitting still. In this class you’ll experience straight forward techniques for introversion and stillness. Paradoxically, by giving yourself the gift of intense rest, you will discover more energy for family, work and creativity.

Balans Pilates Mat

Pilates will help you develop and maintain next level core muscles by strengthening the deep abdominal muscles that support the spine. Through Pilate's unique system of movement, which focuses on breath, healthy joint articulation and stability in the core, you will build strength, flexibility and tone. Using an unique combination of bands, light weights, and body weight exercises, this Pilates mat routine is anything but ordinary. So, Pilates is for men too? Yes, Pilates was originally developed in the early 20th century by a boxer and a gymnast named Joseph Pilates. In fact, the method was created to train athletes and recovery soldiers. All levels welcome.

Balans Barre

Barre is a full body workout concentrating on areas women struggle with the most: seat, thighs, hips, abdominal and arms. Utilizing the ballet barre to perform small isometric movement to music.  Our Barre technique is low impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. The Barre class will typically have a strengthening to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The Barre technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up. Barre is the most effective way to change your body. Have fun and get use to the 'shake'. Bare feet or socks are recommended. All levels welcome.

The Barre Express is 45 solid minutes of strength building exercises, stretching to enhance flexibility and postural alignment. In Express you will achieve a total body workout in under an hour. Would it not be nice to shorten other activities and still get the same result? In our Express class you can have your cake and eat it too with thigh work and seat work. You can have your abdominal and upper body work as well.


Sculpt Tone & Define - Total body strengthening and sculpting with an emphasis on areas we all want to reshape. Learn exercises to build a firmer tush, a stronger core and arms that will make you proud to go sleeveless. All levels welcome.

Balans TRX

Step into a unique approach to suspension training. It is a form focused, music lead, Pilates-inspired and powerful workout that uses your own body weight as resistance to challenge, yes, every muscle. The TRX exercise is efficient, highly effective and it will develop balance, flexibility, core strength and power as well as increase endurance and stamina. Since your body weight creates resistance, TRX is designed with ability to modify or advance any exercise. Whether you are young or older out of shape or a pro athlete, injured or at the top of your game. It is a total body workout like no other. Sneakers required. All levels welcome.
